Disabled access:

When designing the layout and facilities, we attached great importance to 'barrier-free' access and versatility. All the furniture can be easily rearranged and much of it is adjustable for height. When you check in, we will arrange the accommodation for you so that you can move about easily and confidently.
In this way, the apartment can be perfectly suited to your needs.


     Here are details of the layout with key dimensions:

Entrance:

  • car parking space on the property directly in front of entrance
  • stepless terrace door, handle height 75cm, aperture 103cm
  • terrace door unlocks via remote control and opens with an electric motor (no messing around with keys!)

Bathroom
  • access via sliding door, aperture: 88cm
  • 2 washbasins (one of them height-adjustable at 79cm. one at 50 cm), both mixer taps have removable shower heads
  • walk-in shower 90cm x 120cm with suspended shower seat (height 44cm) and support rails
  • disabled toilet, height 44cm, accessible from right (approaching from front), fold-away supports on both sides, extra pneumatic flush mechanism
  • electric ventilator
  • hand towels included in price

Kitchen

  • open-plan design (i.e. to lounge)
  • extractor hood over hob, electric switch at 75cm height
  • 40cm work surface can be adjusted manually to different heights (range 60cm - 90cm)
  • fitted 2-ring ceramic hob operated from above
  • fitted sink (surface adjustable for height)
  • all crockery and cutlery is stored in a cabinet that can be adjusted to any desired height

Lounge
  • sparsely furnished to provide maximum mobility
  • double bed settee for extra sleepers

Bedroom
  • access via double doors (aperture: 140cm)
  • two single beds can be joined to make a double (on castors)
  • height of beds 55cm
  • fresh bed linen also included in price

General

  • all switches, handles and fittings are installed at a height of 75cm
  • switches and electric sockets have a special high-contrast surround (for sight-impaired guests)
  • as far as possible, we have opted for anti-glare lighting
  • we have gone for sparse but practical furnishings

When you check in, we'll arrange the apartment to suit your individual needs:
  • kitchen surfaces adjusted for height
  • crockery stacked for best possible accessibility
  • beds rearranged (single or double)
  • carpets removed, if preferred
